Bridgend's Fairtrade County status renewed!

It’s official! Bridgend’s Fairtrade County status has been renewed!

Bridgend (Wales, UK) was first awarded Fairtrade Status in 2010, and since then the Bridgend Fairtrade Partnership has worked hard to increase knowledge and consumption of Fairtrade goods across the borough and beyond! They have done this by working closely with Bridgend County Council, local schools, churches, community organisations (such as Sustainable Wales & SUSSED), and even Parc Prison.

The Fairtrade Foundation was impressed with the breadth of the Bridgend Fairtrade Partnerships campaign, and wishes them luck with their future plans.

Thanks to all those involved in the campaign and everyone who has made the switch to Fairtrade!
