Margaret Minhinnick, Sustainable Wales co-founder was interviewed as part of Voices for Change: Stories from the Environmental Movement
How has 50 years of action made a difference? –
For the last three years, a research team at Royal Holloway University London has been developing an oral history of the UK environmental movement. We have completed 100 life story interviews, and these are now being passed to the British Library where they will form part of the ‘National Life Stories’ sound archive.
To celebrate this we are holding a special event on Thursday Oct. 23rd (7 – 9pm) at the British Library. We will have a unique discussion with some great environmentalists: Tony Juniper (Chair, Natural England); Areeba Hamid (Co-director of Greenpeace UK); Asad Rehman (CEO of Friends of the Earth) and Harriet Lamb (Chief Executive of the Green Party).
The evening will be introduced by Craig Bennett, CEO, the Wildlife Trusts. Places are filling fast.
The event is part of the British Library Events programme - book tickets on their website: https://lnkd.in/eJasFWXy
